This 2-hour awareness session, held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sarwar Naseem Hall, focused on digital rights and technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV)—a timely and crucial conversation for Pakistan’s digitally active Gen Z.
The event featured informative discussions and interactive segments highlighting how youth can recognize, respond to, and protect themselves from online harassment and digital abuse. Participants were empowered with tools and knowledge to reclaim their digital spaces and advocate for safer online environments.
The event was honored by the presence of esteemed guests, including Dr. Ali al-Bayati and Mr. Qasim Janjua, both representing the senior management of UNDP, whose insights highlighted the global importance of addressing digital threats with local action.
